Terms of Service
_Effective date: 30 July 2026_
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of OfferTrail, operated by Stefan Stanic, trading as OfferTrail ("we", "us" and "our"). Our address is Brentford, Ealing Road, United Kingdom. Contact us at [email protected].
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a plan or otherwise using OfferTrail, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
OfferTrail is a job-search organisation service. It can build a tracker, store documents, provide AI-assisted job-application analysis, and show Company Response Intelligence.
OfferTrail is not a recruitment agency, employer, legal adviser, financial adviser or career-placement service. We do not guarantee an interview, employer response, offer, hiring outcome, accuracy of a job posting, or the continued availability of any third-party service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract to use OfferTrail. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate account and payment information and notify us of unauthorised use promptly.
3. Your data
You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy and rights needed to provide any data, documents or job posts you submit.
4. Plans, trials and payment
OfferTrail offers a Free plan, OfferTrail Pro and a 3-Month Search Pass. Current features and prices are shown at checkout and on the pricing page and form part of your order.
- Free: no subscription fee; feature limits apply.
- OfferTrail Pro: currently £9.99 per month, billed monthly and renewed automatically until cancelled. Eligible new customers may receive a seven-day trial; the checkout page states whether a trial applies.
- 3-Month Search Pass: currently £24.99 as a single payment for three months of Premium access. It does not renew automatically.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing Pro, you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method shown at checkout for each renewal. We may change prices on reasonable prior notice; a price change will apply only to a future renewal.
You can cancel Pro through the billing controls in Profile settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless applicable law requires otherwise. You may have statutory cancellation or refund rights; nothing in these Terms limits those rights. Where digital services begin immediately, checkout may ask for the consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law.
5. AI Coach and Company Response Intelligence
AI Coach provides draft analysis for you to review and edit. Do not treat it as legal, immigration, financial, employment or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking all output before using it in an application.
Company Response Intelligence is based on reported and anonymised application outcomes from participating OfferTrail users. It is an informational signal, not a statement of fact about an employer or a prediction of whether you will receive a reply. Sample sizes, data recency and individual circumstances can affect results. Do not use it as the sole basis for an employment decision.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse OfferTrail. In particular, you must not:
- break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- access accounts, data or systems without permission;
- interfere with the Service, bypass limits, scrape it, or introduce malicious code;
- use the Service to create or distribute deceptive, discriminatory, unlawful or harmful material; or
- use Company Response Intelligence to harass, defame or target an employer or individual.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties or our legal obligations.
7. Your content and our intellectual property
You retain ownership of your documents, job posts and other content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and use that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service and provide requested features.
We own OfferTrail and its software, design, branding and other intellectual property, excluding your content. These Terms do not grant you rights to our intellectual property other than a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but it may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, third-party outages or events outside our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. If a material change significantly reduces a paid feature during an active paid period, we will use reasonable efforts to give notice and provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss arising from an employer's conduct, a third-party service, or reliance on AI Coach or Company Response Intelligence. Our total liability to you for claims connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using OfferTrail at any time. You can delete your account through Profile settings. We may end or suspend the agreement if you materially breach these Terms, create risk for us or others, or we must do so for legal reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. It forms part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law or our operations. We will post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may have the right to bring a claim in their country of residence under mandatory law.
